In a Teams webinar organised by the DUIHK, our practice leader gave a presentation about the practices of authorities in connection with misleading and aggressive commercial practices, the keys to compliance and the most important requirements set out in the relevant regulations, and about the new regulations that will take effect after 1 January 2021 with regard to mandatory guarantees. Existing and new product categories, and the obligations of retailers and manufacturers were also addressed in the webinar. The questions asked by the participants were then discussed in online roundtable discussion.
